The possibility of consumers not receiving electronic communications inspired the ‘Zen’ side of the company name because everything is based on the permission granted by the subscriber. The ‘Data’ side (data mining) was obvious since databases are key to good customer relationships management (CRM).
zendatamarketing was founded in Montreal in September 2006. Always striving, the agency joined the Compost Marketing company in 2015. Compost Marketing has offices in Stockholm and Malmo (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Hong Kong (China).
Zendatamarketing is a Montréal-based strategy agency that has been specializing in the customer path, interactive relationship marketing, and the deployment of email campaigns since 2006.

President – General Manager
René Godbout founded zendatamarketing in 2006, capitalizing on more than 35 years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, media and CRM/loyalty program management.
A seasoned manager, he has held numerous senior positions, including Marketing Director at Aeroplan, Marketing Communications Director at Radio-Canada, and Marketing Communications-General Manager at Bell Canada. He has also acted as a senior executive at some of Montreal’s best advertising and media agencies.
Following his extensive marketing studies, Antoine has held senior marketing positions in Europe, Canada and the U.S., including five years as the Internet Manager at Air France in Montreal.
He holds a vast expertise in building and implementing interactive marketing strategies in the areas of electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM), search engine optimization and marketing (SEO & SEM), and Internet media placement. This provides him with a clear understanding of how online marketing works—and how to make it work for you.

Assistant General Manager
Vanessa completed a B.A. in marketing at l’Université du Québec à Montréal in 2009. She has worked in marketing in the food and travel sectors prior to joining the agency in May 2011.
A proactive manager, she holds great skills in project and staff management. Her strategic recommendations and first class client service have surely contributed to the agency’s growth.

Ariel has more than 28 years of experience in IT, project management and e-relationship marketing. Independent consultant for TC Media, Intact Insurance, Desjardins Visa, Lure Media, Aeroplan.com, France Telecom/Orange, Abilon).
Since 2011 his mandate with Compost Marketing SE, is to be in charge of the business development and strategic relations for the North American market. Ariel is active in the community (Notman House, Webcom, etc.).
Regional Sales Manager – Toronto
Mike is a sales executive who is on a mission to help his digital marketing customers become the heroes of their marketing teams. Before joining zendatamarketing, Mike spent 5+ years providing expertise and solutions to some of Canada’s best know brands. The solutions and services that Mike provided helped his customers improve the deliverability of their email, increase engagement with their campaigns, and optimize revenue from their email marketing efforts.
Mike is excited to partner with marketers to listen and understand their goals and challenges; and to offer strategy, technology and his experience to help them achieve (and exceed) their marketing goals.
Before joining zendatamarketing, Mike has held sales and management positions at Return Path, Quest Software, and Applied Systems Canada. Mike holds a diploma in Accounting Finance from Sheridan College.

Adrian holds a BSc in Business Administration and Computer Sience from Copenhagen Business School, and a Master in e-business and Online Marketing from the IT University of Copenhagen.
Working with online marketing since 2007, he knows his way around SEO, SEM, CRO, Web Analytics and is specialized in e-CRM and customer experience communication.
Adrian has been leading the Scandinavian consultancy team since 2013. He is relocating to Toronto with his family where he will join the North American team, working closely with Zendatamarketing customers.
